How it works
Three steps from signing up to seeing results.
Connect your bank
Use PostFinance Open Banking, import an ISO 20022 camt.053 or MT940 file, or upload a plain CSV — pick whatever fits your workflow.
Match transactions
Flitz tries QR reference first, then IBAN + amount, then fuzzy vendor name + amount. Every match gets a confidence score so you know how certain it is.
Review or approve
Matches above 90% confidence are booked automatically. Anything lower lands in your review queue with ranked suggestions — one click to confirm.

What customers say
We process around 400 transactions a month and Flitz matches nearly all of them automatically. The camt.053 import works exactly as it should for Swiss banking.
The QR-Bill matching is a real time-saver. Reconciliation used to take us half a Friday afternoon — now it's done before I finish my coffee.
Even transactions with incomplete or garbled payment references get picked up by the fuzzy matching. The daily email report keeps the whole team in the loop.
Frequently asked questions
- Flitz has a native PostFinance Open Banking integration. For other Swiss banks, you can import account statements as ISO 20022 camt.053, MT940, or CSV files — which most Swiss banks can export directly from e-banking.
- Yes. ISO 20022 camt.053 is a supported import format. You can download the file from your e-banking portal and upload it directly to Flitz. MT940 and plain CSV are also accepted.
- Flitz parses the QR reference number from incoming payments and uses it as the primary matching strategy. When a QR reference is present, the match is near-instant and highly confident, so it reconciles automatically.
- If neither a QR reference nor a clean IBAN + amount match is found, Flitz falls back to fuzzy vendor name + amount matching. Each candidate gets a confidence score, and anything below 90% goes to your review queue with suggestions ranked.
- Yes. Any automatically reconciled transaction or review-queue suggestion can be overridden with one click. You always stay in control of the final result.
- Flitz sends a daily reconciliation report by email listing matched, auto-booked, and pending items. You can act on anything outstanding directly from the report without logging in first.
