How it works

How does it work?

No marketing language on this page. This is how the system actually works, explained the same way we explain it in a live demo.

1

You send in what you have

Every invoice and receipt reaches the system one of two ways: you email the PDF to your personal intake address, or you photograph the paper bill with your phone. A crumpled receipt from a ski lodge works fine.

The system reads it: vendor, amount, date, VAT. In about nine out of ten cases that is the whole job. When a photo is too fuzzy to read reliably, it does not guess quietly. It warns you and asks you to check.

2

Underneath sits a real accounting system

This part matters. Flitz is a full double-entry accounting system: a journal, debit and credit, the Swiss Kontenrahmen KMU, fiscal periods you can lock, VAT rules built in. The AI did not invent any of that structure and cannot override it.

If you just sent your receipts into an AI black box and let it do things for you, you would run a big risk of things being completely wrong. So the rules define what a correct booking is, and the AI automates the work of getting there. Your books stay books you can hand to an accountant or an auditor.

3

Your bank feed drives the reconciliation

Connect your bank account, or import the statement file every bank can export (camt.053 or CSV) at the end of the month. Each transaction on the statement is compared against your invoices, and matches become journal entries.

The dashboard shows the match rate and a queue of what it could not match. Usually the reason is simple: the invoice was never sent in. You send it in, the match completes. And if something was matched wrongly, you reconcile it by hand. That is basic accounting, and it works the same here.

4

You decide how much runs on autopilot

Everything the AI does is gated by settings you control. You choose whether invoices are booked to creditors and reconciled later, or booked directly when you have already paid. You choose whether journal entries need your approval, or go through automatically after the AI review.

There is also a second reviewer: a CFO agent that looks at the finished bookings the way a CFO would, not the way a bookkeeper would, and proposes adjustments. You can accept those one by one or let them auto-apply. Full autopilot with spot checks, or manual approval of every entry: both are supported, and you can change your mind any time.

5

Invoices out, money in

For your own invoicing you define your services and rates once, pick the client, and the invoice fills itself in. Send it by email, or set it as recurring and it goes out every month on its own.

When the payment arrives on your bank feed, it is matched to the invoice automatically and marked paid. Overdue invoices get automatic reminders, with reminder fees if you want them. Clients stop paying late surprisingly quickly.

6

Ask the assistant instead of searching

The built-in assistant is trained on all the modules and sees your whole company. Ask it how VAT reporting works and it answers. Ask it who is off sick today, who forgot their time report, when a customer last paid or which receipts are missing this month, and it looks at the real data and tells you. Tell it to send a colleague a message or prepare the MWST report, and it does that too.

And when you want a human, you get a human. Tell the assistant, and it contacts us directly. Early accounting users talk straight to the people who built it.

7

Start with one pain point. The rest is included.

Most people come for one thing: the invoices, the time tracking, the CRM, the project board. Whatever hurts most. You start there.

Everything else is already in the same login: time tracking, CRM with calendar-aware meeting booking, projects with roadmaps, email with AI reply drafting, team chat, an encrypted password manager, IT management with antivirus, a website builder, forms, a GDPR module, uptime monitors. No second subscription, no integration project. When you need the next tool, it is already there and already knows your data.

8

Where your data sits

On servers in Frankfurt, in the European Union, hosted on DigitalOcean, in a PostgreSQL database. Every company's data is strictly gated to that company.

Developers have no access to the live production database. Passwords and bank credentials are encrypted on top of that. The data processing agreement, including the full list of subprocessors, is public on this website and you can download it before you ever create an account.

9

What it costs, honestly

Plans start at CHF 39 per month, with AI usage included as a token budget. Heavy AI use costs tokens because it costs us tokens; nothing is hidden in the price.

The accounting module is the newest part of the platform and we say so openly. Early users get direct support from the founder and the developers, and when something is missing for your Treuhänder or your VAT filing, you tell us and we build it. That feedback is worth more to us than the subscription.
